Jonathan has over 25 years experience working in the financial markets, started in the City of London in September 1985. After becoming a qualified trader on the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), then qualified to trade in the Global securities markets, for both the Bank and clients, trading bonds, shares, currencies and commodities. Lectured on LIFFE's training programme for Option Trading and Pricing and also wrote several papers for their quarterly news publication. He has worked extensively with the Reuters news agency reporting on the financial markets and giving regular interviews on Reuters Financial TV until he left to come to New Zealand in October 2000.

A regular contributor in the Financial presses, with a vast experience and knowledge of the financial markets and how they work.

Qualifications: Jonathan is a member of the Society of Independent Financial Planners (SIFA). He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Business Studies in Personal Financial Planning, a BA Hons Accounting degree from the University of North London and is an Authorised Financial Adviser. Jonathan keeps his knowledge up to date by extensive reading and attending industry related seminars and courses relevant to the investment advisory business
